First and foremost, we begin with your consultation.
Here, we go into great detail about your goals. I not only listen, but use my experience to determine what would best suit you personally. By communicating with one another and really getting a feel for what you want and what I can do, we paint the best picture – and deliver the best treatment – that offers you the greatest benefit.
The next step is measuring out your face to design the best shape that enhances your features. Using a cosmetic pencil I will create an outline that shows you how it will look before we proceed. I am a true perfectionist, and will spend as much time as I can to ensure my template is completely symmetrical. We will only start to tattoo when you're completely happy with it.
Depending on what you're looking for, I use either my specialist facial tattooing machine or U-shaped microblade hand tool to implant pigment into the skin.
Using a topical anaesthetic before the treatment to minimize any discomfort, the procedure normally takes around 1 hour, although this can vary depending upon individual requirements and treatment being carried out. Immediately upon completion, expect the area to look 40-50% darker, with the true softer colour revealing itself after 3-4 days.
After your initial treatment, we book a second appointment 4-12 weeks after. Here is where we retouch and perfect the new you. This is a usually a 30-60 min appointment to add more pigment. Often when healing you will experience that some parts may not have held as well as others, and there may be a few patches that require more pigment. Everyone heals differently so you may not even need to have pigment added, but I always like you to come in so we can see how things are looking.

Depends entirely on the person. There are countless factors that determine pigment retention, with skin type, diet, genetics and environmental factors all coming into play.
As a guide, it could be anything between 1-5 years before a new treatment is required, although refresher colour boosts are recommended every 12-18 months. Once the colour starts to change you will know that you are ready for your refresher colour boost.
Not a problem, but due to the healing process, you should leave some time between your cosmetic surgery and permanent cosmetics procedures.
Prior to the treatment, we will both fully discuss your medical background and be 100% sure we can go ahead. Regardless, permanent cosmetics are rarely prevented by medical matters.
With me, you're in safe hands. I adhere to the highest standards of health and safety. However, implanting pigment into the skin is invasive, which carries a small risk of allergic reaction, and an even smaller risk of infection or scarring.
No. Drinking the night before can affect pigment retention.
Permanent cosmetics is far gentler than you might imagine. Many clients comment that the treatment is no more painful than having their eyebrows tweezed and, combined with the anaesthetic I use, little discomfort is felt.
My gift and my curse is I'm a perfectionist. Especially when it comes to my clients! That is why I book 3 hours per new treatment, to ensure that we create the best possible version of you.
A second appointment to review the final healed colour is included in the price, and usually takes place around 4 -6 weeks after the initial treatment and takes around one hour.
Brows and eye treatments tend to look darker in colour immediately after the initial appointment, while lip colours can look more intense. This softens in a few days.
You can wear mineral cosmetics immediately after the treatment. However, you need to wait until the treatment area has healed before wearing traditional cosmetics.
We will provide you with aftercare instructions and a special aftercare balm.
Everyone is different, but the surface skin generally heals no longer than a week after treatment.
This is not necessary, unless you should choose to do so.
Current guidelines from the National Blood Service require anyone with permanent cosmetics to wait for 4 months after their treatment before giving blood.

Laser hair removal can fade and change the shade of your lip and brow treatment if you are having the hair removal in that area.
Applying makeup to the skin immediately after treatment is not recommended, nor is exposing yourself to extreme heat or cold. After every treatment, I provide you with a copy of the do's and do-not's to help streamline your journey to a better you.
It is not recommended, as the sun can have detrimental effects on the results, but feel free to show off your new look 4-6 weeks after your final re-touch procedure.
